Aprio Gains Accreditation to Certify ISO/IEC 42001

Aprio has received ANSI National Accreditation Board accreditation to certify organizations against ISO/IEC 42001, the international standard for artificial intelligence management systems. Effective April 24, 2026, the accreditation allows the accounting and advisory firm to conduct independent audits and issue certificates to organizations that develop, deploy, or use AI systems. The service extends Aprio's existing ISO assurance program and gives organizations an external mechanism to validate AI governance practices for risk, procurement, security, and regulatory-readiness needs.
