The Story
Brookfield and NextEra Energy plan a privately funded AI data center campus and associated power infrastructure at the U.S. Department of Energy's former Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant in western Kentucky. The project is projected to involve more than $100 billion of investment, over 1.2 gigawatts of computing capacity, and dedicated generation and storage resources.
