Nvidia and SK Group Announce $500B AI Initiative

Nvidia and South Korea's SK Group announced an AI initiative valued at more than $500 billion, centered on large-scale data centers and next-generation memory. The effort includes a long-term partnership with SK Hynix on memory supply and high-bandwidth-memory development, while SK Telecom plans a 2-gigawatt AI data center using Nvidia Vera Rubin chips and SK Hynix HBM4 memory. The first facility is targeted for 2027, alongside a separate plan by Nvidia, Naver, and Brookfield to expand Naver's South Korean AI data center.
