EU and Ukraine sign drone-production pact

Russia tests low-altitude manually controlled Shaheds

Kyiv Post and Ukrinform reported that Serhiy Beskrestnov, an adviser to Ukraine’s president on defense technology, said Russian forces are shifting some Shahed-type drone attacks from mass launches toward isolated, manually controlled strikes. He released video of a Shahed descending to roughly 22 meters, reportedly to evade radar and interceptor drones; Ukrainian forces neutralized the drone in that incident. The reports coincided with a July 18 Russian attack involving 90 drones and multiple missile types, with Ukraine saying it destroyed 69 UAVs and one missile.
