Airbus Demonstrates Collaborative Autonomous UAV Missions image

Airbus demonstrated two Primoco One 150 uncrewed aerial vehicles conducting coordinated surveillance missions with its MARS Autonomy software at the 2026 ILA Berlin Air Show. The system used shared distributed intelligence to automate non-critical flight functions, including task allocation, route planning and dynamic replanning, while a human operator retained authority over critical decisions. Airbus plans an initial operational deployment on Primoco UAVs later in 2026 and positions the software for wider crewed-uncrewed and uncrewed-uncrewed teaming.
