Russian Barrage Kills Eight in Ukraine image

Russia launched more than 280 attack drones and over 70 missiles in an overnight assault across at least 10 Ukrainian regions, with reported deaths ranging from at least seven to 13 and dozens injured. Ukrainian officials reported damage to homes, markets, warehouses and other sites in Kyiv, Kryvyi Rih, Lviv, Poltava and elsewhere, despite the interception of more than 260 drones. The attack renewed Ukraine's call for additional Patriot and other anti-ballistic missile defenses, while Poland investigated an unidentified object tracked near its border during the strikes.
