Bank of Baroda Probes Alleged 1TB Data Leak

Bank of Baroda is investigating reports that the TripleX extortion group obtained and published roughly 1TB of customer and internal banking documents. Reporting indicates that an employee email account may have been compromised, while the bank said its core banking systems were not accessed. The alleged exposure could create identity-theft and targeted-phishing risks because the material reportedly includes KYC forms, identity documents, customer records, loan files, and internal audits.
