DentaQuest Breach May Expose Data of 23 Million People

DentaQuest is notifying affected individuals after unauthorized access to its network between May 17 and May 20, 2026, potentially exposing sensitive personal, insurance, and dental or vision health information. The company has confirmed at least 15 million affected beneficiaries, while other assessments put the potential total above 23 million. DentaQuest says it secured its systems, notified law enforcement, engaged outside investigators, and is offering 24 months of credit monitoring and identity-theft support.
