FBI Seized 59 Drones During LA World Cup image

The FBI seized 59 drones that entered temporary flight-restricted areas during FIFA World Cup matches and fan events in the Los Angeles area in June and July. None of the seized drones carried weapons, but officials said unauthorized flights can endanger aircraft and create security risks near major venues. The enforcement operation is being used to inform preparations for the 2027 Super Bowl at SoFi Stadium and the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
